I have always loved writing. You could say I have a passion for it. I wrote my first novel “Dr. Peabody and the Mystery of the Lost Ghost” when I was just ten years old and, for years have spent much of my free time sitting in front of a typewriter (and now a computer screen) expressing my innermost thoughts via the written word.

As many of you know, my crowning achievement with writing thus far has been the wonderful acceptance and success I’ve enjoyed with my memoir “On Call in the Arctic”. Being chosen for publication by a New York publisher (Pegasus Books), winning a silver medal in the prestigious Nautilus Book Awards competition, and now being presented in Hollywood for film adaptation are all crazy miraculous occurrences I never dreamed possible. I plan to share more about these things in the blog. And I will.
